As a Virginia tech Hokie of six years, having done both my undergraduate and my graduate work at the university, I am saddened beyond words about the events of this week. I currently work as an academic counselor at Texas Tech, but only recently (months ago) left Blacksburg. I feel lost and overwhelemed with sadness. These feelings are only increased by the distnace, geographically, that I currently have from my home in Blacksburg. I know this is an awful event, but I know that my VT family will come together through the grieving. Please pray for my fellow hokies and their families.
